In the reviews section, they list the release of TOTO's Past to Present video collection on DVD, what rating do they give it? A 2........??
Come on, not a whole lot of Jeff footage out on the market (outside of a few boots), so what if it's music videos, it's Jeff......MD is sinking to new lows.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. MD sucks. It's anything but modern. NO mention of the younger cats, and it's all political. DRUM! is kicking MDs ass. They didn't do anything on Carlock until he was with SDAN for a couple of years.

I've had all of TOTO's videos for some time and this particular set. The big bash has been for Byron (the lead singer of sorts) on P-2-Present. I like the guy--evidently the cats in the band did not.

There is some great JP footage along with a young Paula Abdul on Til' the End.

Who did the review? Mike Haid sometimes blows reviews. I Emailed MD when Haid gave Planet X's Moonbabies a slam compared to Green Day's latest. Not cool! [img]rolleyes.gif[/img]

What about John Blackwell on the cover of MD AGAIN?? What can this guy say that wasn't said a year ( an a few months ) ago. I can't wait to see when MD puts Travis Barker on the cover again!!!! JUST KIDDING!!!!!

Have any of you guys over in the USA been able to grab yourselves a copy of Drummer Magazine? I write the occassional article for it.

It's halfway between MD and our other UK mag RHYTHM (which turned into a bit of a comic I'm afraid) it's pretty "fresh faced" here in the UK, especially when considering the compitition...

Here is a funny little diddy... did anyone notice poor Mr. Blackwell on the cover? He is out of focus, they focused on Prince instead [img]frown.gif[/img]
Now, i know a thing or two about photography, because i sent my ex-wife (when she was my wife) to school or it. $35,000 later, i know that if they would have spent 5 minutes, they could have put John in focus also, along with Prince. It isn't that hard to fix a problem like that. I think it is the least they could do for their "cover story".
